Burkart.dev

Today I’m starting work on what will eventually be my Burkart.dev website. The intention is essentially to utilize a public read-only Kanban board as my portfolio. Visitors will be able to see at a glance what projects I’m currently working on, and where the development status is.

Of course, it’ll also have a back-end I can log-in to to modify the board as things change.

I’ve been wanting to experiment some more with TypeScript and Next.js, so this is what I’ll be using for the project.

Eventually, I would like to extend the Kanban application I am building to include some other interesting features as well, but that’s still a little bit down the road.

This is also my first post on this blog, so “Hello!” to anyone who might read this. I will be using this website to basically just record in a sort of dev log format what I am working on, and what progress I have made.

Journaling in this sort of way is a great way to keep the mind focused on certain goals, while also being something interesting to reflect on later in the future.

Most of my posts here will be shorter updates, but from time to time I may also publish articles when the mood hits.
